2. He Comes for Me

He stood there glaring at me
Burning a hole into my lonely soul
And in this very moment I could not move
His eyes gazed deep within my frozen stare
Instantly I was held captive, unmoving
My heart raced and tried to retreat deep within
For it knew what was coming
I knew this as well
His hooded cloak tattered and torn
From years of wear and tear
I was on his list at the very top
I was to be next, very next
His pale, withered hand drew closer to mine
The thump thump thump grew slower, quieter
The air around me grew colder, more still
And as the world began to blur
And the lights began to dim
I simply just let go, falling down below
