I used to see the green, the gold
The orange and brightest red
All of these colors I see no more
It seems the world went dead
The yellows are gone, the blues disappeared
Browns and whites fell from my sight
No twinkling stars or glistening moon
But only the dark of night
All the colors mixed in a chaotic swirl
My sight began to blur
It all turned gray and then to black
The day I lost sight of the world
interesting and pretty
